Sorry so late getting back to you. I wanted to get my son Scott on board since he has quite a bit of hands on experience with the different platforms. He was out of town for a while last week and it took a little to get hooked up with him.

As you know there are a bunch of different platforms and systems and components to consider. Things like Google Play, Amazon, Cortana… that all connect to devices like Zigbee, ZWave and Nest and many more.

My conversation with Scott got us down to things like…



• What kind of things would you like to control? (Nest Thermostat, Blinds, Lights, Etc.)
• Mostly from an APP on your phone?
• Do you have a Floor Plan or Sketch of the layout?

Maybe a few other details. Perhaps we could do a Face-Time walk around just to get a feel for the place.

I don’t think this is very complicated but the next step is about some of these details.
